“Second release on Sharivari Records, coming from Parisian musician Art Bleek, who already worked for Rush Hour, Room with a view, Loungin'Recordings, Resopal or Connaisseur.
On the A side, The Real Thing is a funk-flavored masterpiece, starting with gorgeous deep chords and evolving into a funky and sexy house track, while Midnight Marauders is a straight P-funk smasher, with big clap, funky bassline and wild vocals.
The B side features The Real Thing remixed by Swiss producer Agnès, who gives to the original track his usual magic touch with a building house rework. At last, Little Hollywood closes the EP with a hypnotic and minimal groove that reminds the best work of Cobblestone Jazz.
